*Optional subprocessors are subprocessors that are not used by SmartRecruiters on behalf of customers unless a customer (1) purchases a particular software module as indicated in the table above, (2) chooses a particular implementation partner, or (3) chooses a subprocessor to provide particular functionality (e.g. Mailgun or Sendgrid) based on hosting location.

**A customer must choose either Mailgun or SendGrid for email functionality.
